PKO Bank Polski and the Sport Evolution agency have extended their partnership for the Gdynia half marathon. Under the terms of the agreement, the bank remains the event’s title sponsor.

The PKO Gdynia Half Marathon, along with the accompanying breakfast run – PKO Gdynia 5K – will take place on the weekend of April 26-27 this year. More than 3,000 athletes are already on the start list for the main race.

We want the PKO Gdynia Half Marathon to stand out with its unique evening setting and relaxed atmosphere. This is a race for everyone – we welcome the winner at the finish line with just as much enthusiasm as the last finisher. For those who prefer shorter distances, we have the PKO Gdynia 5K, where at the finish line, we will invite everyone to… a shared breakfast.
Michał Drelich, Director of the PKO Gdynia Half Marathon

PKO Bank Polski has been involved in sports initiatives for years. It promotes an active and healthy lifestyle combined with charitable activities and supports employees in developing their sporting passions. As part of the “Run Together” program, PKO Bank Polski sponsors numerous running events in Poland, including the PKO Poznań Half Marathon and the PKO Białystok Half Marathon. These events are accompanied by the charity initiative I’m running for…, which helps people in need during their treatment process. Once a year, the PKO Charity Run is also organized.

As a leader in the Polish banking sector, we care about the well-being and needs of our clients. We are committed to the development of running events across the country, encouraging physical activity and a healthy lifestyle. We are proud that last year, the PKO Gdynia Half Marathon returned to Poland’s running map with PKO Bank Polski as the event’s title sponsor. This is one of the largest and most prestigious road races in our country, which is why we are pleased to continue this partnership this year as well.
