6 tysięcy osób na liście startowej PKO Gdynia Półmaratonu do 6 stycznia 2026 roku. Tyle wystarczy, by dwa razy 6 tysięcy złotych zasiliło konta organizacji: SOS Wioski Dziecięce i „Graj z Głową”.

The "Graj z Głową" Foundation is also a partner of the PKO Gdynia Half Marathon. It focuses on the mental health of athletes of all ages, and its main project is a helpline where experts are ready to support athletes, their loved ones, and coaches. PLN 6,000 means 30 consultations and 1,500 minutes of free mental support for the sports community in Poland.

People talk more and more about how important mental health is and how much mental preparation can help in life and in sport. Today’s world brings so many challenges, and the pace of life does not slow down, so prevention and education in mental health, building resilience, and managing emotions should be a priority for each of us. For over 4 years, the Graj z Głową Foundation has been responding to the growing needs of the sports community in the area of mental health. We educate and provide prevention tools, as well as help in mental crisis and depression. I am very happy that mental health is also important for the organizers of the PKO Gdynia Half Marathon. The collected funds will support the foundation’s priority project called “Rozmowy dla Głowy”, a mental support helpline dedicated to athletes, their loved ones, and coaches.
Ewa Urnatowska – President of the "Graj z Głową" Foundation

This free tool for users is not only support and psychological help. It is mainly prevention of mental crises and depression. Each session lasts 50 minutes and is completely free of charge. The foundation ensures full anonymity of the calls. The calendar for the “Rozmowy dla Głowy” project, where you can book free consultations, is available here: https://rozmowydlaglowy2.calendesk.net/

More information about the Graj z Głową Foundation’s activities and the “Rozmowy dla Głowy” project can be found on the foundation’s social media profiles and website.

The cooperation between the PKO Gdynia Half Marathon and foundations that support children and athletes is a commitment for the organizers and runners. Every small action matters here. We know that many people leave registration for later. Now there is a reason not to wait. A small gesture, a big impact.
Maciej Stroiński – Press Spokesperson of the PKO Gdynia Half Marathon

Ambassadors also support

The race ambassadors, Karolina Nadolska and Krystian Zalewski, also encourage people to take part in the PKO Gdynia Half Marathon. Zalewski reminds us that sport has many sides, and in the case of the PKO Gdynia Half Marathon, the charity side is especially important.

The cause matters. My team supports the "Graj z Głową" Foundation, which takes care of athletes’ mental health. This is the right moment to show that we are responsible and that through sport we can help.
Krystian Zalewski – ambassador of the PKO Gdynia Half Marathon

The team running under Karolina’s patronage supports SOS Children's Villages. Everyone who registers for the PKO Gdynia Half Marathon can choose which team they want to join. In January, the ambassadors will present their own training plans.

Polish Championships

PKO Gdynia Half Marathon 2026 is also the official 35th PZLA Polish Half Marathon Championships. Medals will be awarded not only to professional runners, but also to the fastest runners in each age category. The Polish Athletics Association decided to award medals in as many as 6 age groups.

Registration for the PKO Gdynia Half Marathon 2026 is already open. The start list currently includes over 4,000 runners, and the organizers estimate that as many as 10,000 people could run in Gdynia.
