The weekend with the PKO Gdynia Half Marathon is fast approaching. This is the last chance to make the decision and experience these emotions alongside thousands of other running enthusiasts. Registration is open until Easter Sunday.

This year’s PKO Gdynia Half Marathon will start on April 26 (Saturday) at 20:30. Runners will compete in the dark, and the organizers are preparing an unforgettable light and music display for the route and the finish line. Everything is designed to make the event experience stay in the memory of every runner. Moreover, after crossing the finish line, participants will not only receive commemorative medals, but also a recovery meal and an after-party that will last into the late hours of the night.

The emotions from the half marathon will barely subside, and on Sunday morning (April 27), participants of the PKO Gdynia 5K will take off on the fast 5-kilometer route along the Seaside Boulevard. This is a perfect opportunity to start your running journey, and the certified course will also be ideal for setting personal bests. The race is scheduled to start at 21:00, and right after crossing the finish line, runners will enjoy a shared breakfast.

The organizers of the running weekend have not forgotten about the youngest runners. On the day of the PKO Gdynia Half Marathon, there will also be the Frugo Kids Run, featuring several short races for children and teenagers on age-appropriate distances. The races are for children aged from 2 to 14 years, and the main goal is to have fun outdoors. Every child will receive a commemorative medal at the finish line. Moreover, by registering their child for the race, parents will support local educational institutions in Gdynia.

The last days of registration. Thousands of runners already on the list!

You can still sign up for the PKO Gdynia Half Marathon and the accompanying events. However, registration is open only until Easter Sunday, April 20.

It is already clear that this year’s PKO Gdynia Half Marathon will have an even higher turnout than last year. The start list already includes over 4,800 half marathon runners. Organizers estimate that the final number will exceed 5000.

Adding participants of the PKO Gdynia 5K and Frugo Kids Run, Gdynia is preparing for a weekend with over 6000 active running enthusiasts, which means a 20 percent increase compared to last year.
