For the first time in Gdynia’s history, the official 35th PZLA Polish Half Marathon Championships will be held here, including an additional age group classification. The race is scheduled for 25 April 2026 and will be part of the sporting celebrations of the city’s 100th anniversary.

What is the classification?

This is a separate, official classification within the championships. In addition to racing for the best possible result, you can be classified in your age category and compete for Polish Championships medals.

Age categories
Medals will be awarded in 6 age groups, separately for women and men:
• 18–29
• 30–39
• 40–49
• 50–59
• 60–69
• 70 and over

Age group membership is determined by the year of birth.

How to enter the Polish Championships Age Group?

During registration for the PKO Gdynia Half Marathon, please tick the checkbox that says: “I declare that I am a citizen of the Republic of Poland and I want to take part in the Polish Championships in age groups (AG), and I consent to the processing of my personal data by the Polish Athletic Association in order to prepare the classification and include my result in PZLA Statistics.“

Only Polish citizens may take part in the Polish Championships in age groups.

Awards

Participants who place 1st–3rd in a given category will receive specially prepared medals during the awards ceremony, which will take place after the race.
