On Monday, November 18, at 14:00, registration for the PKO Gdynia Half Marathon will open. The race will take place on the evening of Saturday, April 26, 2025. This year’s edition received excellent feedback from the runners.
This past year, the PKO Gdynia Half Marathon returned to the Polish running calendar after a several-year break. The refreshed event format, featuring an evening half-marathon race, brought together nearly 5,000 running enthusiasts who rated the event very highly in a post-race survey. Almost 88% of participants would recommend this race to their friends, and over 70% expressed a desire to return to the PKO Gdynia Half Marathon next year.
Registration Opens on November 18
Registration for the upcoming edition of the PKO Gdynia Half Marathon will open on November 18 at 14:00. on the SlotMarket.pl portal. The link to the registration form and all key information can be found on www.gdyniapolmaraton.pl.
It is confirmed that the Gdynia half marathon will retain its evening format, with runners starting on the evening of Saturday, April 26. Participants can complete the half-marathon distance individually or in a three-person relay team.
The entry fees have also been announced. The first 1 000 slots will be available at a price of 139 PLN. Subsequent price brackets will range from 160 to 240 PLN. A special 50 PLN discount will be available for runners registered for the 2020 World Athletics Half Marathon Championships in Gdynia, which were canceled due to the pandemic. Discount codes will be sent to all eligible runners who have not yet used the discount this year.
It’s Worth Registering Early!
A lower entry fee is the primary incentive not to delay your decision to join the race. The organizers expect the limited number of early-bird entries to sell out quickly. But there are also other reasons to register soon after registration opens.
Participants who register within the first 30 days, until December 17, will benefit from the Flex30 program. This means that, in the case of injury, changes in race plans, or other unforeseen circumstances, they will have two options:
– a full refund if they withdraw from the race at least 45 days before the event;
– a free transfer of their race entry to the next edition of the PKO Gdynia Half Marathon, even up to 7 days before the race.
